The outdoors revitalize my being no matter the activity and even if only for a moment.
Being outdoors reminds me of what is most important; therefore, I long most days to be in the great outdoors.

Our lure assortment that brought us luck on Mantua

Here are the lures that brought us luck.  All are available through "custom jigs and spins"

Gilbert had his luck on a green Nuclear Ant.  The one pictured is Chartreuse.

Brad's luck came on a green Rat Finkee.

Most of my luck came on a pink and white Ratso.

I also had some luck on a pink and white Toadie.

We tipped most of our jigs with Wax Worms.

But we found better luck with Meal Worms "Mealys" for the bigger bluegill & trout.

Brad had the touch for catching the bigger bluegill.

Brad with a decent size bluegill.

It was a great day to be out fishing.  Brad, Gilbert and I were happy with the fishing action.  We went from 2:30-6pm.  We each caught between 10-15 bluegill.  Brad caught 2 rainbow trout and landed one of them, the other got off right before he was able to pull it out of the hole.  I caught two rainbow trout as well.
