The outdoors revitalize my being no matter the activity and even if only for a moment.
Being outdoors reminds me of what is most important; therefore, I long most days to be in the great outdoors.

The best day ever on the Blacksmith Fork

Here is a sampling of the fish Brad and I caught on the Blacksmith Fork this evening. Total we caught about 20 fish together. Not all of them were as big as these. The water was crystal clear and the flows were lower- so it made for a great day! I think we are getter better and better.

We fished salmon flies with a dropper of a prince nymph or whatever we had that looked close to it.  As always- catch and release.

Landing a bass from Newton

Newton Fishing

Brad and I went to Newton today.  It was slow at first and then we started getting hits and seeing fish.  I had strike from a small bass on my moss boss and then a huge hit from a tiger muskie, but I didn't hook either.  Brad saw a good size tiger muskie cruising the shallows.  I finally hooked this nice bass.  A storm came in and ended our expedition early.  In a matter of 5 minutes it turned from calm to raging winds and rolling whitecaps.  We will be back soon.

A few missed Pics from the Ice fishing season
