My first NBA playoff game ever! It would have been my 2nd, but I helped the boss pull off a prank on his family to keep the engagement of his daughter a secret- which left me missing out on Jazz tickets. The prank went great though. For this game, Jazz vs. Lakers- Zane, Nick, Mike, James and I got to go to the game. We met early to do the traditional Crown Burger before the game. The arena was so loud that most of the time my ears were ringing (yes, I know that means hearing damage). Too bad they lost. It was fun though!
The outdoors revitalize my being no matter the activity and even if only for a moment.
Being outdoors reminds me of what is most important; therefore, I long most days to be in the great outdoors.

My first fly fishing outing for 2010
I'm not sure what this fly is, but there were lots of them out on my first fly fishing trip for this year. I tied on a pattern as close as I could to it and started getting hits. I hooked 4 different trout and couldn't land a single one. I was too eager and kept setting the hook too early. I'm excited to get out more this year. Sorry for all posts catch-ups. I will try to stay more current. Stay tuned for more updates.
Caleb's First Ice Fishing Trip
Caleb's first ice fishing trip was fun. The first picture is of him getting splashed with water from a fish. He stayed busy coloring and watching the Disney channel on my phone when the fishing was slow. Once we found the fish he had a fun time watching them down the hole and trying to get them to bite his jig. He almost fell head first into the hole he was so excited. He actually did fall in- I just drilled the holes in the tent and told him to stay put while I brought the buckets in- he stepped into the hole thigh deep 2 seconds later. He stayed warm enough to keep fishing. He didn't do bad for his first time. I'm excited to take him more next year. We went to Hyrum Reservoir in February.
